I was given some shrubs a couple of years ago by a colleague at work. I can't for the life of me remember what they're called, but each year, they grow full and lush and have some pretty white sprays of flowers that the bees love. Taking photos of them at work is a difficult job if you don't have a digital SLR, but this is a decent action shot, I think.
I always have a sense of relief when I see bees (which is probably the opposite effect they have on most people). I realize how endangered these animals are becoming and how important they are to the crops that the world eats. I don't know how long they will be around, but I'm glad to see them buzzing around my garden.
