Take a Photograph Every Day: Day 22

I love our Mayday tree. I love that it has many stages throughout the growing season. It starts out with green leaves in the spring. Then, it blooms white, fragrant sprays of little flowers. After that, the leaves slowly start to turn purple, and the flowers that were pollinated turn into green emerald-like berries, and then ripen into deep, purple jewels. It's like having multiple trees in one!
